Remembering Maya Angelou

The world lost a great woman, author, poet, humanist and civil rights activist (and mentor to Oprah Winfrey) when Maya Angelou passed away earlier this week. There have been so many great remembrances and postings from news organizations and other luminaries that captured the essence of this elegant woman, including this quote:

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
-Maya Angelou.

May you rest in peace and your words forever live on!!!
