DIY: Nature’s Halo

Many brides are looking for more natural alternatives to traditional veils and this headpiece is fresh, natural and stunning.

Prep: Gather supplies

Chenille Stems (Pipe Cleaners)

Bunch Cutter/ scissors

Floral Glue (if using real flowers as other glues will harm your live stems and flowers)

Ribbon

Choice of Live or Silk flowers and greenery

Large cylinder or Vase

Measure crown of head. Twist chenille stems as shown to create a wide enough band for the halo. Add ribbon to ends of halo for easy adjustments

Clip and trim leaves from greenery stems

Apply greenery from edge to edge of chenile halo form with floral glue

Choose flowers, trim close and place in openings of greenery or create clusters strategically placed around crown

Place halo, adjust ribbon then tie or curl ends for a unique look.
